General Description

The Secret Garden Guest Cottage is a five bedroom, three bathroom, raised bungalow which is equipped with a large eat-in kitchen, separate dining room, spacious living room and sun room leading out to the furnished deck overlooking the garden with an ornamental pond and waterfall. The first level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the lower level has another three bedrooms and bathroom, all five spacious bedrooms have twin/king beds.

The name for the Cottage was inspired by the secluded garden which is the perfect setting for relaxing with a glass of wine on the patio by the pond. This self-catered cottage appeals to couples seeking an intimate get-away, but it is also perfect for large families or wedding groups. Additionally, it has proven to be very popular with groups of ladies who come to town to shop ‘til they drop, then refresh at the Pillar and Post Spa just around the corner.

All of the bedrooms have two twin beds, but guests may request to have the beds made up as kings. All linens and towels are provided. The dining room has a table that seats ten, and an additional table can be set up for larger groups. The large eat-in kitchen comes complete with all utensils, appliances, and a dishwasher. In addition to the spacious living room, the sunroom provides a secluded area for anyone needing a quiet place to read.

The Secret Garden Guest Cottage is within walking distance of the Shaw Festival Theatres, boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, tennis courts, public pool and the Niagara River Recreation Trail. It is also just a short drive to golf courses, wineries, casinos and Niagara Falls attractions.

Daily and weekly rates depend on whether guests require all five bedrooms on both the main floor and lower level, or just the main floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. To quickly calculate the weekly rate, it is six times the daily rate, ie the seventh night is free. You could also contact the owner at 905-468-4639 to discuss special rates for a weekly rental.

Note: pets are not allowed in the Cottage, but please be aware that a dog sometimes stays in the Cottage with the owner when it is not being used by guests.
